Organization (Omnyvore administrators only)

An organization is a company which is currently using Omnyvore. Please notice that managing organization is possible only if you are a platform administrator.


Create a new organization

The first step to create an organization is selecting the Organizations view in the left sidebar: Organizations view button

In this view, you can find a list of the organizations. To add a new one, click on the box with the symbol. Organizations list

Fill in the form by specifying the following properties of the network and then press the Save button:

  • Name: a mnemonic name for the organization (mandatory)
  • Account Name: the unique code used to identify the organization (optional)

Once created an organization, you can change its name or its description by clicking on one of the boxes in the organization list.


Select an organization

To change your current organization, follow these steps:

  1. click on the organization you want to select;
  2. click on the Change organization button. Change an organization

Delete an organization

When you want to delete an organization, follow these steps:

  1. click on the organization you want to delete;
  2. select the Delete link in the bottom left corner of the editing modal.

If some things, access keys or users are associated to the organization, then its deletion will not be possible. You first have to remove all the entities of an organization in order to delete the whole organization. Furthermore, you will not be able to delete an organization if it is the one which is currently selected.
